C-Suite Leaders

A recent Mc Kinsey Global Survey on executive transitions found that nearly half of top executives say they weren’t effective at earning support for their new ideas when they moved into C-suite roles. This isn’t surprising, given the high expectations of new executives, the competing demands they must balance, and the fact that many of them feel they don’t have much practical support. This isn’t any different for seasoned C-suite leaders either. The fact is that the challenges a C-level leader faces are starkly different from those faced by anyone else in the organisation. There is simply more at stake and there is much more scrutiny than ever before.

 

Focus, clarity, creativity, compassion, and courage are some qualities that mindful leaders must have. They are also the qualities that give today’s best leaders the resilience to cope with the many challenges coming their way and the resolve to sustain long-term success. This program is built on the ideas of self-reflection and positive reinforcement through setting rituals – the core idea being that while we know a great deal about what drives effective behavior, even those who are aware of that evidence deviate from such behavior. The focus in this program is on awareness. i.e making participants aware of thoughts and tendencies, often habitual in nature, which seem to capture them in the moments of decision – so that habits can be reprogrammed, and more effective habits replace the old.
