Assertive and Persuasive Communication
Assertiveness is a crucial step in having control over one’s own life and towards building a positive relationship with others. The same holds true for companies and brands as well. If an organization wants to be assertive and persuasive, it needs to create an internal culture which acts as a reference point for the outside world, thereby creating a strong image. The aim of Assertiveness Training is to make the participants learn how to express their requests, opinions, and feelings, directly, and in an appropriate manner without defying the rights and self-esteem of others.
Assertiveness and persuasive communication skills include expressing and accepting personal rights and responsibilities, making direct requests and refusals, praising, and getting praised, and confronting others. These skills make huge contribution to an employee’s ability to succeed in reaching personal and career goals. Not to mention, it is incredibly useful in social life as well.
